I like your leaving the stock beadwork on the firewall....
for the guys headed there a '35-'36 ford truck firewall is about the same size but the lower half is backset about 4" factory... and a handy thing is a '37 -'39 truck firewall is about the same size but has a built in battery box... HIH..

I don't specificly remember the car but after this many years that doesnt necessarily mean anything, if you cruised Sonic at all I'm sure we did. At that time I would've been tearing around town in an obnoxiously loud, super faded light blue and grey primered '80 Mustang, dark blue '85 Tbird, or if it was later in the fall of '05 the Tbird would've been traded out for a straight piped tan '88 F150, with grey primer spots of course.

Car's looking badass, I dig the flake on the engine and how the blue is playing off that gold frame.

 

Yeah, pretty much a guarantee then. I was usually hanging out with a guy named Victor who had a white Mustang and a gal named Denise that had a teal Camaro

 

I've been reading online that this car ended up being a stolen car (not by the current owner) 20 years ago and is possibly heading back to the old owner? Has anything happened with that? Man, it makes me sick just thinking about that situation
