The frame on a '34 I just bought is nice but has an old style universal tubular transmission crossmember installed in it.
The frame is boxed and I would like to put a stock style full X member back in the car.
I remember seeing them being reproduced for use in a boxed frame but can't remember where I saw them.
Does anyone know who makes or sells them ?
    Thank you.

Chassis Engineering (now Heidts) makes an x member similar to stock style. Don’t know of any direct replacement.

If you plan on using 39 or 40 clutch and brake petals, the chassis engineering’s X member is at wrong angle. You have to notch the X member to make them work. And you have to change angle of mount.
