Very nice indeed......and they all asked, whats Rudy been doing for the past year or so.... Rudy has a great understanding of the look he best in a car, and creates a great stands at the same time.....I will be there in the morning to see my 33 so if you don't mind, can I take some pic's? Scott
Drew, Very cool car, and the new look so far is awesome ! You got the right man for the job, the attitude that Rudy infuses into his '33-'34 chops/builds is nothing less than spectacular. Good luck with it and congrats on your son ! Jim
Thanks everybody! I'm so stoked up on this car right now, words just don't seem to be able to express how cool it is to see my car come together like this after all these years. With Rudy's help no less! Scott, I don't mind at all if you snap some pics of her while your up there. Thanks for asking Ill be putting a few more pics up today, photobucket was messing up pretty bad las night though. I took a ton of pics from different angles to study. I also took a bunch of pics of Rudy's personal 29' roadster that he's putting up for sale I'll throw some of those up too, the car is RAD!
Wow, another inspiring build thread. Wish the East Coast had some talent like Fullerton Fabrication! I keep reading and subscribing to all these 33 & 34 Coupe builds in an effort to get more info and inspiration for my 34 5w Coupe. Please continue to share your journey...I am subscribed.
Thanks for the photos. The chop is really heavy and requires lots of fabrication skills to make it look right. You have taken it to the right place for the "Look". Lynn
"You're makin tracks!" Man, that chop is sweet n low~! Save those pieces though, ya never know if someone might need em down the road. You'll be on the road soon, Can't wait to see the end result. Was thinkin about Rudy yesterday-The 1st time I met him, he had just bought the yellow Olds Powered 34 5W that had it 1/4 windows filled,32shell,Bobbed rear fenders,Centerlines and he was going past the Broiler to come around to the back where we used to park. That was 25yrs ago!!!!! Eek!!! We're not the young guns anymore!!!!!! No body our age was doing this stuff then. It's funny how times have changed. That man is talented! You have a heelluva craftsman working on it.
Here's some pics of Rudy's personal 29'. He didn't tell me what he wants for it. Said it's going up on e-bay to see what he can get for it. I dont care much for Roadsters(not my cup'o'tea) but if I had the money I'd buy it. There a oil change sticker in the door dated like 1963. Original laquer paint, perfect patina, with a badass Rudy built 32 chassis, and a screamin' SBC dressed out like a vintage 283. Enjoy! The family went with me to check it out Playing with "color spash" on photobucket. Please keep negative comments to yourself, but not too bad for just having a baby if ya ask me
You know I like'em chopped hard! I have another 33-34 3 window in pieces that Im gonna get so soon, going to do a comp coupe with a healthy chop.... Coupe looks great! Pete-
I've been silently tuned in... until now. Awesome! I always want to do things myself, and then I never get a project done. Kudos to you for making the decision to get it done and done right! The coupe looks AWESOME!
The chop on your coupe reminds me of something - oh yeah, the chop on my coupe! Good work, and good to have the family involved.
Thanks Everyone!! I went up to Fullerton today and am in the process of uploading some fresh pics. Almost time for it to come home, This is getting exciting! Rudy does some awsome work for sure.
Favorite Pic Ever! Three HAMBer's Model 40's. Scott Gillen's un-chopped 33 in the forground, DROD's 33 chassis, and my coupe in the back gettin' her haircut. Love It!
You sure got the "WOW" factor now bud! This is gonna be another Rudy great, for sure. Love the chop as you could imagine, it's right up my alley. Oh and you def have a knack for takin pics, thanks for this!!!
