Deposit received , SOLD Pending payment !! i'm not sure why i'm even posting this as until about a week and a half ago i had NO intention of selling this car !! i had an offer on it that got me thinking and i somehow talked myself into being OK with selling it ,then the offer changed and might not happen so i'm gonna put this out there for sale or PARTIAL trade with cash my way while i'm still feeling like i could let it go ! this is a 1933 all steel chopped 5 wdw coupe ! it was an unfinished hot rod project that was given up on in 1949 until i found the car a few years ago after sitting for 63 years ! the dropped and drilled axle was purchased by a young hotrodder out in Wendover Nevada in 1947 and brought home strapped to his back on a 46 Indian motorcycle and the drilled unsplit original bones were done at the same time that he installed it and the juice brake conversion was partially completed at that same time . i will include a couple pics of the car as found and prior to the metal repair and chop and as it is seen today ! the engine is an 8BA flatty with ford crank and +.125 offy pistons ,adj. lifters, offy high comp heads ,edmunds 2x2 intake ,holley 94's . bubba converted SBC distributor , custom built and wrapped headers that collect to a 3.5" turn out under the car , stock MATCHING NUMBER original 33 tranny that matches the original 33 vin number on the frame that we modified the rear crossmember on to lower the rear using part of a model A rear cross member and part of a model A tranny crossmember and i kicked the rear rails up a bit since the stock fuel tank is not being used and to get the look i was after for the push bars on the rear spreader ! rear is original center and axles with later juice hubs . 16' 40 ford wheels with 7.50 x 16 firestone rears and original 5.50 x 16" ribbed firestone fronts ( this size is not repopped , these tires are date stamped 1955 and "for racing use only")they are in great shape and with the tubes in them i wouldn't hesitate to drive on them anywhere ! the original steering wheel is super nice with only a couple fine hairline cracks and has not been removed from the column , possibly ever ! interior is sparse with just a pair of buckets ,battery and a new spun aluminum fuel tank . only the metal that was too far gone to save got replaced . original 33 non crows foot wheel wells were used and partial subrails along with partial rockers and quarter lowers ,along with a partial trunk floor . All of the floor from the trunk drop forward is original and is in excellent shape . i have all of the original wood, window regulators, stock glass, door panels, etc etc that came out of this car and will include it with the car if wanted ! there are NO headlights or taillights on the car right now ! i will include the original 33 headlights as well as a cool bakelite headlight knob on a late model universal headlight switch that is already mounted in dash in an existing hole and a set of aftermarket taillights i bought for it ! i did put in a new pressure switch for brake lights when i put all new lines under the car so wiring up some lights will not be a big deal ! the fuel lines are all new as well ! if you have any questions or trade offers text or call 315 254 7091 HollywQQd this is how i found it and you can see in these pics the brake conversion and the drilled bones and axle many of these pics taken by various artist and myself at TROG Allen Dobbs Mr. Blackthorn Travis Tanay
