16 years ago I got the chance to buy a real rough 33-3W. My vision for this project was to build a Salt/Drag car like they would have done in the 50's. I know everything is not period correct, but I am happy with how it turned out so far. Friday Sept. 4th I took it for it's first ride, after 16yrs of start and stop work. Here are a few pics of it's evolution. Thanks for looking.

It is a 1956 322 bored 30 over. The blower is a 471 Cragar that I found about 10 years ago.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. One of my employees shot a cell phone video of the maiden drive. I will see if he will post it.

The car was found in the Hills and it had been tore in half by a log picker. The guy I got it from tried to put it back together, but it was too much of a project for him. Wish I had earlier pics but at that time I did not have a digital camera or computer. Most of the marble dings were caused by a body hammer in the wrong hands./
