IMG_2869.PNG IMG_1043.JPG I got these from a friend. They are marked 34 ford. They only roll down 3-5/8" I wondered if they are quarter window regulators. Not much info on such things. Closest I could find was a similar pic on Vanpelts page.

    Ideas?

Five window quarter windows are fixed in place, a Model 40 730 is a Fordor Sedan.

Does the quarter window on a sedan only roll down 3-5/8"?

  4. The rear window on my '34 5-window rolls down approximately 3-5/8 inches, and the handle looks like the one pictured by the OP. Supposedly it was to allow conversation with the rumble seat passengers.

  5. These are Fordor quarter windows, I just took a pair out of an original 34 Fordor. 5w quarter windows are fixed and the rear window regulator is like a pickup door regulator. IMG_1043.JPG

They must have changed their design in '34 because I'm pretty sure the regulators in my '33 Fordor don't look anything like that.

What struck me as odd was how little they move.

  8. The fordor rear quarter windows roll down a few inches.

    Like the 32 Fordor. HRP

  9. They can only move so much due to the wheelwell being in the way.

So they are pretty much junk. Nobody around here builds 4 doors.
