Hey all, just wondering what needs to be done to a 322 flywheel to work on a 264? just it just need to be neutral balanced? And can something be done to make it reversible as I'd like to run a 322 eventually but have sourced a running 264.

Nothing needs to be done. The flywheels are interchangeable with no modifications. I had a 55 Buick with a 264, three speed and replaced it with a 322 out of a 56 Buick that was hooked up to a Dynaflow. Swapped all the standard shift components from the 264 to the 322, everything fit and everything worked. Don't forget the pilot bushing.
