crazy.... welcome..saw your "project" at South Austin Speed Shop.
Bottom line for me. I don't care who he's married to. Just as long as she supports his passion.
With that said, welcome to the HAMB maybe you'll see something new and in turn pass on a little something.
Well there is the one and only Sock Fuckers C.C., but it's kinda tough to become a member.
Basically this is an Intro post...
That puts it in the wrong forum.
If it's not an intro post, then it's a newbi posting a Want-Ad for his FIRST POST...
And it's still in the wrong forum.
Couldnt have said it better.......
Kilroy, good point...
Jesse, nice to see you posting finally...
And again Welcome Jesse...
The "54" garage was the all time tits.
I know those "legends" put their pants on one leg at a time, but you can't tell me learning more about lead'n from Mr. Hines didn't give you wood man.
Talk about a "Superbowl" of builders.
I don't get jealous often, but I want that 54.
Maybe in my after life.
Have fun here man.
I hope you will show project pics on a regular basis. You seem like the type that doesn't like to fuck around when you build something.
I have heard nothing but good things about you from Fay. He says that you are probably one of the best TIG welders he has ever seen. That would make me feel warm and cozy inside if I were you. Ummm yeah, I have yet to learn. Ha Ha Ha
I'm also glad to see a new guy on here that can back up his talk with real iron, famous or not. Herpes is famous too, that doesn't necessarilly make it a good thing! Ha Ha Ha I respect the ability to fabricate and visualize above all.
Little Mike, now there is a guy I am star struck over!
I guess I'm a legend... because I put my pants on both legs at the same time.
or maybe I'm just weird.
Welcome to the fun, Jesse. I figured you were a lurker...
welcome aboard jesse, i too have heard good things from fay about you
so whats this vicky getting for motorvation...flathead!?!?
I think it's cool you're here Jesse. Before the show you were just like a lot of the guys out there just doing what you loved. Just as long as these guys be cool and think you'll enjoy your stay here.
I first saw ya on Discovery. A documentary @ 5? years ago. I thought "This guy RULES!".
I don't have cable/satellite anymore so haven't seen what you've done lately. (TV pollutes.)
I think you'll 'fit in' fine here with the rest of us MISFITS!
FLATHEAD??....HELL NO!....I COULD KILL A FLATTY IN 30 MINUTES!..I WANNA DRIVE THE HELL OUT OF THIS THING!......THEY LOOK COOL THOUGH!....PROBALY RUN A 572 HEMI....OR A LITTLE ALUMINUM RAT ROLLER MOTOR??......NOT SURE YET....WILL HAVE A QUICK CHANGE FOR SURE......TEXAS TRANSMISSIONS SEQUENTIAL 4 SPEED......ALL BEAT UP PARTS OUT OF MY FIGURE 8 CAR......
Welcome to the HAMB. I appreciate your respect for the history of the bikes and cars. There's a bunch of guys on here that will be looking forward to some metal shaping and welding tech. Congrats on being a regular guy that made it.
welcome to the hamb.
a little off topic,( but than your thread has gone in quite a few directions already) why not get chip to do a drawing, and scratch build something really bitchen? maybe an open wheel , traditional styled car .
you did work with chip for a while didn`t you ? dywane wasn`t your boss was he ??? that would have made for a great episode (announcer ; and on american rodder this week a confrontion between dwyane and the welder guy threatens to stop the whole build)
again welcome to the hamb,
Welcome to the HAMB Jesse.A friend of mine was at the Austin Speed shop last month and told the Merc looks good.
Welcome to the HAMB, Jesse! It's great to have someone of your calibre on here. I'm sure I will be able to learn a ton from you!
Just further proof that the HAMB is the greatest car place on the 'net!
BTW, Jesse, I sent you a PM about the 32' Vicky.
CHIP & I WORKED AT THE HOT ROD SHOP FOR A COUPLE YEARS TOGATHER......THERE WAS NO KNUCKLEHEADS THERE LIKE THAT DYWANE DUDE.......DICK BROGDEN(prez. I live in Indy and seen you drive your figure 8 car in the 3 hour, are you still 8 racing and do you think you will make it back here for any.
Tell us more about the model of what appears to be the NY Sedan from MG.

Hey man, sending welcomes from deep south texas. Anyway, do you see yourself getting involved in drag racing again or was the kalitta deal the end of that?
I CANT AFFORD IT....TRYING TO FOCUS ON MY OFF ROAD TEAM!
Thats cool but you still havn't come clean about the sedan model.

hey Jesse, first of all welcome to the hamb.
Five years ago when i was picking my career field for the Airforce, i decided to be a machinist / welder. I just want to say you were my greatest influence for this choice!! And i couldnt ask for a better job!!!!Then a couple of years ago i read an article/ interview with you in the HAAS monthly magizine!! In that article, you said that you didnt belive in takeing out looans or borrowing $$$, and that you only expanded your shop when you had the cash to do so!! That is Awsome!!!!! I have started to live by that same idea, it takes a little longer to get what i want, but it has made me work harder for the things i want. You are an insperation to us all!!
Welcome to the HAMB Jesse, but please stop yelling. After all it is Monday morning.
I think it is cool as shit that you joined Jesse. Post some more project pics.
The radial bike kicks serious ass.
Now that the TV gig is on hiatus and you've got some free time, maybe hop in the '36 and drive it to the Pile Up in October. I've wanted to see that in person for a long time, and I was bummed that it was tucked away when I was at your shop a couple years ago. I'll have plenty of beer and we can swap '36 Ford stories. Oh, and talk Cole into bringing Hammet's '36 too.
Oh, and I agree that you should be able to find a stocker somewhere.
Welcome Jesse, you made a good move with Garage Magazine... and Sandra, she was hee-larious on the Roast last night. Prostate milking?
Do you know where I can get a WCC t-shirt?
I keed, I keed .
