In my stupidity I have somehow managed to snap off the ball on the end of my throttle lever.

Is it able to be welded it back on? It's pretty small so not sure if the weld would create a bind on the throttle linkage if not filed back down.

Looking for advice on what I should do

Maybe fire up the mig and build up a new ball blob on the end. Aint a welder on here that cant make a blob, lol. and spend some quality time with a file and whittle a new ball on the end. Go slow and keep retrying until it fits right. I know a pain in the ass but what about this hobby usually isnt. I also thought maybe some flux and a touch of silver solder might do the trick. I dont know what kind of pressure is on that point.

i would cut a piece of an arm from a model A and weld it on, if i couldn't find another. i have A stuff around, and new A parts are cheap.

Bend the remaining arm over a bit more, and file away until you have a new ball there on the end.

    Fixed!

Drilled a small hole halfway into the ball, used an old drill bit as a shank and inserted it and brazed it to the arm with a corresponding hole.

A file now to tidy it up and back on the road.
