I know they call the grey on the 32 grille french grey but what is that color or if someone has a code? Thanks

  2. As I recall there were three variances of Seagull grey & one of french grey, but I don't know the codes for any of them..

There were several threads discussing the colors on the Ford Barn. HRP

The salesmans book from 32 says "french grey", but the factory painted them "Gull grey". I dont believe anyone has a formula for gull, so you would have to find a original insert, look for a reminent of the grey and have it matched at a paint store. I dont like Gull, I prefer French. There is an existing formula for French Grey/

When I paint them, I add a little Matte flatening to the paint to soften the gloss

  9. Thanks for the codes, and tips. I have 2 original shells and inserts; some day, when I'm looking for something to do, maybe I'll tidy them up.

I’m curious, are you restoring a 32 for preservation and 100 point show quality?
