I’ve got a decent original 32 hood top that I plan on using on my "in process" 30-31 A Coupe on deuce rails.
I don’t really care for the look of an A hood and don’t mind the extra work needed to fit the 32 hood.
I’m using a 32 grill shell and it’s just a tad farther from the cowl than stock model A.
Of course the hood will fit the rad shell OK but it’s a little too wide at the cowl. It will need shortened some (no prob) and narrowed. I’m thinking of pie cutting a full length piece out of each side and welding it up. Has anybody done this? Any pics or info?
Also the side bead is wider than the body bead on a model A. Should the bead be narrowed also?
Don't want to buy a custom repop.
    Thanks for any help.
