It’s coming together nicely. Very nice details on the engine!

Going to a 15:1 steering ratio. I’m getting tired of cleaning greasy shit!

Are you related to the Justice Bros that have the great facility in Ontario? Did a tour there with the High Desert Roadsters back in 05.

Noted sandblasting in your driveway. Were you able to keep spent sand pretty well confined? How did neighbors react?
Oops, sorry. Didn't read far enough.

Almost makes you want to just get it running and not worry about making it pretty.

Got all the little stuff and gears set up for paint/assembly. Two bigger pieces are soaking in the solvent tank. Slowly getting down to my last few greasy rebuilds.

Off to LA Roadsters to sell off leftovers. Hopefully make enough to pay for the banjo rebuild and brakes.

  18. Looks good to me as is! Great job on the roadster. I was out to LARS last June and it seemed that all I saw were SoCal type cookie cutter roadsters. Just different colors. Refreshing to see your 32. Good luck with the rest of the build.
I am glad you left the holes for the side curtain snaps. I want to put them on my Brookville body. If you ever get time I would love to get some specs on their locations.

I’d be happy to take any measurements you need. Go ahead and email me at [email protected] and let me know what all you would like to know.

Nice build. Is the fan on your generator a truck fan? If so what year. It doesn't look like the 4 blade 32 fan. Nice job on the steering gear.

What are you going to use to seal the sector? When I built my sedan I used an F-1 box with the '32 flange welded on. I tried a felt "washer" to seal the area. Didn't work and the frame rail was always wet and drippy. I rebuilt it over the winter, having a the flange counterbored to fit an F-1 seal into it. So far so good. I filled it with John Deere corn head grease.

    Yes it’s a 6 blade 39 truck fan

Everything was filed flat and I use a little “snot” for areas like that with all stock rebuild components. I couldn’t go F-1....that’s now how it came in 32,:)

Can’t find all the good stuff but I can’t miss any much needed details, either. It’s not overkill if it’s right.

Dennis Lacy had a build thread for his 32 truck and one thing he did was rebuild his steering box. I was able to follow along and finally wrap this up today.

Looks like a repeat and nothing major BUT it actually is. This has come out to be rebuilt, painted and detailed. Parts are starting to get their final touches so I would say I’ve at least hit somewhat of the downward slope on this build.
