Original lower stanchions, radiator cap, ford logo, e-brake, steering wheel, deck lid handle, all 4 shock arms and a rear spreader with luggage tabs. Easy stuff, right?

Metal work is taking a bit longer than expected and I had to finish up another project car that took up a lot of my time the past 2 months. Up next is chopping the 32 top irons and dialing in the finish work on all the metal. I would like to use skim coats to fine tune the paint rather than fine tune the body. The holidays will slow things down a bit. I will post more pictures once the body is done with metal work, gaps are all done and the car is fully or close to pre-assembly before taking it all apart to start the final body work for paint.

Got it rolling on the right shoes. It has now left my garage to finish up the doors, dash, top iron chop and a few other odds and ends

Took an eighth of an inch out of the frame, massaged it a bit more to flow with body lines and swapped out stanchions. Passenger door is done and drivers door is close to it. Chopping the 32 top irons this weekend. It’s a 3” chop but im making it specific to my height so the 3” will have some give and take. Once we’re done with that Im going back over the frame to chamfer all the holes drilled, get the rivets put on permanently and then we will tackle the hood. Lots going on right now

Needed to drive today so I took the 55 out to a local cars & coffee with my buddy in his deuce roadster. 210hp and 100hp zipping down the streets. A nice break from building shit.

Got my transmission all wrapped up. About as new as you can get with old stuff. Swan neck polished up nice, too.

Justin Veazie started working on the hood channel repair and fit. Two things you’ll see is the welting and the gap on the front grill she’ll still need some work. You should get the idea of the project with the pics.

Was able to locate a 36 LB that runs. Sold off some of my other 21 stud shit to help pay for this. Now I will tear it down and build it back up.

Rebuilt and prettied up 97’s with arrowhead bases to match the Edelbrock slingshot intake. Do not know what I will top the carbs with (air cleaners, scoops, etc.)

Broke out the masking tape and Ford green. This transmission is a wrap. Well, I am holding back from bolting on the repop e-brake. Will still search for a good original.

Started the tear down. Looks good so far, few wrong parts, pretty bad paint job & needs a good father figure to bring out the best in him.

For anyone reading I’m still looking for a stock 32 steering wheel, a 34 fuel pump stand, 32 transmission cover and original e-brake

More one off shit. Mike at Early Ford Store occasionally opens me up to his stash.

I assume you know that the trans mount ring is on backwards?
