My problem is I can't seem to find u bolt measurments anywhere on the Internet the story go's I have an old rusty 32 frame that was customized prob in the 60s? It looks to me to be a 32 crossmember and looks to be original. So I ordered a spring bolt kit for 32 ford and it don't fit so I call socal and they say it is the correct one so it is either package wrong or the Fram I have has a different crossmember I will send pics

A stock 32 crossmember measures 2 3/8 across the center bolt hole. Here is a photo of mine. I raised it 1 1/2" but the distance stayed the same.

Maybe somebody plated it over to repair cracks. Any spring shop should be able to make it.

My stock `32 front crossmember is 2 1/4" wide where the spring "U" bolts fit over it.

  14. What's it measure inside ?
You don't want the spring fitting in there like a hotdog in the hallway
