32 ford tyre question

    i have 32 tudor sedan ongoing project,need to get tyres now,what the best choice of tyres,ie wet/dry,hot/cold,summer/winter.i have 5x15 wheels,408 stroker,525 bhp,what are you useing,whats the best,also consider i live the uk,phil.

    You looking for radial sizes or bias ply? Full fender or high boy?
     
  3. My 32 pickup has bias ply..my 32 sedan has radials,,just have to decide what you want. HRP

    sorry forgot those ,fully fendered,radial,sort of looking at 165x80x15 and 235x75x15,want to try and match tread patterns as close as poss,what do you think,phil.

    These are 205/60 15 fronts on 15x6 halibrands, 235/70 15 on 15x8s. Goodyear radials.

    but here are a few.........
    bonnet = hood
    boot = trunk
    wing = fender
    sump = oil pan
    windscreen = windshield
    ponce = NEVER MIND!! (smiling as I type)

    I have 235 75 15 but they are on a 7 inch rim. 5 might be a bit narrow.

    Also 235 75 15 comes out close to 29" diameter

    235-75x15 rears on 8 inch wide wheels, 145x15 fronts on 5 inch wide wheels
