20170708_114549.jpg View attachment 3701514 20170711_123035.jpg Been looking for one reasonably priced for a couple of years and finally ran across this one. Happy to have one in the garage to go along with my 5W and 3W.
Got it from a guy in Missouri that was wanting a roadster and already had a deal going so it worked out for both of us.
Has a 35 year old lacquer paint job that's cracking, fading and generally just showing its age with over 85,000 miles on it. Perfect for me.
Halibrands, Buick V6, coffin interior and a cassette player put her right in the 80's but it's bones are great.
Complete Pete & Jake chassis, unchopped/unfilled roof, working a/c and the cowl vent still works.
My plans are replacing the interior, bias plies/ '40 steelies, scrub every inch top and bottom, freshen the suspension and drive it. If the V6 gives out, I have a '65 283 ready to take over. I'm gonna enjoy this one!
    Enough. How about some pics.

  6. Great looking car,congratulations. HRP

  7. This is a really neat car. I personally wouldn't mind the V6 either. Bullet proof power and a great for just cruising.

Any more pics of the engine?

    Thanks guys.
Mars red has faded to orange and not my choice of color but that's its history.
The V6 is easy on gas.

  9. I noticed the car had a 25 louver hood,that's a plus. HRP

I know everyone wants the 25 louver but I prefer the look of the 20 louver.
Not as open so the engine is hidden better.
I'm one of those guys that leaves my hood closed like it was meant to be seen. Lol

Nice old tudor. Not to be mean, but hope you blow up the V6. It needs that 283 !

    Lol.
Yeah, my buddies are quick to point out that the motor doesn't sound right and needs replaced but it and the TH350 trans were both rebuilt 20,000 miles ago and really push the Sedan along nicely at 70 mph.
I'll watch the oil pressure gauge closely...

Yes,those are our two Australian Shepherds. Seven total so far. 20150204_154444.jpg 20160316_143704.jpg all 3.jpg
We've always had Aussies and except for the shedding they are the best dogs we've ever had.
Smart, loyal and live a long time.
They're called Velcro dogs cause they're always stuck to you.

    Thanks Mike.

Toptenmoe, I sold that truck a couple of years ago to build another F1.
A guy in Akron owns it now.

    Ok.
Drove it on a day trip with 40+ crosswind and I'm over the bias plies.
Love the look but like wires/radials better. 20180317_114730.jpg 20180317_114747.jpg
A set of Excelsior Stahl radials mounted on stock '35 powdercoated wires and I'm good to go.

    Nice Tudor !
And I like the wires , don’t often see them on a fendered sedan.

Just a concern though, are those exhaust pipes (in last photo, post 2) too close to the gas tank?
