   Did Ford use any material between the tank and the frame? Also, I notice 2 types of mounting kits available for these tanks, one with one spring and some with 2 springs, which is correct?

   Use the same frame welting material as under the body. The stock Ford kit has one spring, but I forget if it goes on top or the bottom.
