It looks like the reproduction firewall manufactured by Hotrod and Custom Stuff out of CA. I've used several of them in my 32 pkg roadsters and have one in my 32 PU and they worked good.
Listen to Krylon,,he has used them and knows what his talking about. Looks about as close to the original as you can get. HRP
Krylon, have you used just the fiberglass firewall from Speedway? my body's glass so I was going to stay with glass. Im using the rootlieb hood, shell and sides of metal, but the main body is glass.
I also have a glass deuce with an ugly flat firewall and I've wondered about overlaying with the glass Speedway one. They quote a 6-8 week lead time, so special order no refund. Seems it might make a 80's 90's car a little more trad? Might also be pig lipstick!
I believe I would use a steel fire wall,,it would really strengthen the body in the cowl and windshield post area. HRP
The only glass body I ever did was back ion the early 70s and I put a stock steel firewall in it. Helped make the cowl a little stronger.
Here is a thread with pic's that is like what you asked about in post #1: http://www.deuceslimited.com/index.php/topic,1472.msg22859.html#msg22859
