They are CHAMPION cast iron heads.
Hey Pete, considering what you started with and the amount of time spent i think the result is incredible.Really great job, plus it's my kind of car (the Prom Queens are never really that much fun).
Let's bring this to the top again. I picked this up several weeks ago. It was part of Dave Stuckey's estate.
No rust with a 4" chop
Nice find Gary!
Yes it is . Thanks for a heads up from a friend that decided it was more than he could handle. I was at the right place at the right time, If I would have waited I would have been to late. He called and 2 hrs (120 miles)later I was looking at it, and purchased it.
Gonna have it paint ready in 2 weeks Gary ?????????

Looks like you made another great buy.....It looks to be a very solid body and knowing you it will be on the road next summer.
Oh man that coupe is bad ass. Reminds me of my old fiver. So cool.
I think it might take a little longer than that. I've got a glass phaeton and roadster to finish first. Although I will probably take it to Colorado to work on it next summer.
I pulled mine out of it's slumber yesterday and mocked up the hood and grill just for kicks. This is a Rolling Bones inspired build with a 425 nailhead....
Got one .
Here's mine............... looks a lot different from when I got it.
Browsing the board and stumbled on this thread again. Posting a recent pic of the Chemical City Coupe to bump this thread to the top.
Just got mine on the road 2 weeks ago.Been driving it every day since.
Some from my camera. JW
One of my favorites, the Jim Busby coupe perfect like it is no changes required!
