Got the motor running for now still have plenty of things to do. I get my custom driveshaft tomorrow. Looking forward to putting that on and hopefully take the coupe out for a spin. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
It’s been a while since I’ve had any updates on the 32 guys so sorry. I have the car running and registered now. Still need a few more things that I will be adding to the car as time goes on by. But since the last video I have added all my door handles and latches needed for my doors to shut. Powder coated my rims and added some new Firestone’s as well. All my gauges are in and working except my speedometer. I still need to add the attachment for that to work. Here’s some photos for now. Will add some more later.
Very nice pic. You have a 5in chop. What seats did you put in the Ford. I have mine chopped 2.5 in. And keep Hitting my head on roof. So I need new lower seats. Suggestion please
I’m using an 1994 dodge minivan seat for the coupe. I definitely need to chop the top but unsure on how much to chop. Been thinking of at least 3 inches minimum for sure.
You might take a look at some Pontiac Fiero seats. They have a decent shape and are very low in the base area. I'd get your seats first and sit on them in the coupe.........then decide how much to chop.
chopping the roof is way over rated.you have little people on here saying ive 6" chop and theres loads of headroom.comments like this need to be taken with a grain of salt.when i get my A it wont be chopped..be nice to fit in with a little comfort and a straight neck.
Here’s my 32, East Coast style, channeled to the bottom of the stock frame that was chopped off at the firewall and then a rectangular tube frame added suicide style. Since I’m 6’5” tall I have to unchannel it because when I sit on the floor my head hits the wood in the roof!
It’s been a minute since I’ve been on here. I’ve so far done a 4 inch chop on my 32. I figured I would do it myself and learn from it. Here’s a few pictures, still not done but there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. I felt it needed the chop. It was to high for me.
Big improvement, they all look better chopped. My coupe is 2 1/8" and now the proportions look right. My 3W was an old dirt track car and needed patch panels and floor. I have never regretted cutting the roof.
Been enjoying the Deuce lately, happy with the new look !! Still have lots of little things to do but in time I will get to them.
