I don't think so, you would have to cut the upper portion of the firewall to modify the deuce firewall, the Model A gas tank is part of your cowl. HRP
this has been covered before https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/32-brookville-firewall.1106749/
There was a 30/31 roadster cowl for sale on here last year that had a 32 firewall installed, looked good.
The OP ask about keeping the Model A gas tank, there is no mention of a gas tank in the thread you posted. HRP
the actual tank that holds the fuel is stepped back away from the firewall so I think it could be retained.
'32, '33 and '34 trucks used almost the same body parts... rear hood widths should be the same... cowl openings should be the same... i sat a '33 truck hood on a '30 A cowl and it was 2" too wide... some have said they put a '32 firewall in a '30 A without cutting... may be wrong, but i tend to doubt it... i think they spread out the '30 outer cowl top and cowl sides to force the '32 firewall in... not possible with the tank intact...
Wouldn't it be simpler to cut an inch or so off each side of the 32 firewall? Then you may be able to retain the A tank. I've never done it, but I think it's possible.
@Mo rust ^^^ Has done a few of these. Vicky & roadster both .. with '32 firewalls. Maybe he'll pick up the phone. Carry on !!!
