The pictures are coming through almost pink. Is this the true shade or is the internet playing tricks on us?

  6. It's not a pink, the colour doesn't photo well. Its closer to a toolbox red, hard to explain but is dark in the shade and really pops in the sun.

Photos were taken on my phone which prob doesn't help. An SLR might give the colour more justice..

  11. Hey guys, fired her up for the first time last night. Have a few idle and timing issues to address but went well for the first kick.

We successfully pissed the neighbours off and even had the police chopper over the house for a little bit.

    Merry xmas, enjoy.

The red looks fine on my screen. Nice job, but I also am wondering why the brake pedal is on the passanger's side. Are you going for a right hand drive? If not, I woiuld be concerned with a passenger mistakenly hitting the pedal at speed.

Really, what's the story on this?

  17. In Australia our cars are all right hand drive and we drive on the left hand side of the road.

And our toilets swirl the opposite way to yours too:D

Im interested in those link bars! Any better pictures of the chassis?

  21. Tailshaft loop, four bar bracket to centre x-member, rear diff brackets, brake pedal and rear shock x-member are cast.

The tailshaft loop, four bar bracket to centre x-member, rear diff brackets, and rear shock x-member slip inside the seamless tube and you weld on the tube. It allows you to grind the welds on the tube so you don't have any visible welds on your brackets.

  22. Pics. The cast sections are available from Lakes Hotrod Parts here Downunder.
