A friend brought me his '32 Chevy 5W project for a little off the top. It needed it!

A 4" slice fit the bill nicely. Laid out and ready...

The difference from the side. No more room for the top hat... :D

I love it, I wasn't sure how much rear window would be left. Just added to the sedan list!!!

Thanks! The 4" cut basically removed the "vertical" portions from the rear window sides, but left enough to retain a nice gentle radius coming back together. Just right!

Hard to tell now, but it took quite a bit of work to get the reveal line back together on the A-pillar, lining it up correctly with the driprail...

The metal part is easy. The hard part is welding the wood back together. You need a special welder for that.

Stick welder, bamboo rod. Pencils work, in a pinch. ;-)

Thanks Carl! Still need to get over there & take a look at some of your parts stash. :D I'll try to get ahold of you this weekend...

Nice images. Keep em focused on the chop.
Now you need to work some magic on that rear pan.

  19. Pretty sure you can use a quality duct tape.
