I am looking to identify the origin of a 1932 Ford 5w that has been in our family since the mid-70s. We bought the car in the DC area, and tracked it back to Frederick Maryland, and then the trail ends. Here are the identifying elements: The car was painted a bronze color. It may have previously been red. It is full height, with a cowl vent. It had an aluminum firewall. In the header panel, there were a series six or more toggle switches. The dash had a full width stanless panel with early winged Stewart Warner gauges and an early Sun tach. The speedo shows 46,000 miles! In the quarter windows on each side are Presqua Isle Timing Association, Erie PA decals with an old FED dragster. The interior was an old wide pleat tanish/brown. On the back was a hand written note from the trim guy using a name like 'Top Cat' or 'Hip Cat' or some such cazy name. I do rmember he was from Ohio. Unfortunately, this early clue was removed and trashed due to its condition when the car was purchased. Does anybody remember this car? Jay
