though id share this.id been trying to buy some panels from howells for my truck.dont answer phone,tried to do online.nothing.I can hear you all saying read the various posts.i have.still I wanted to try.i thought there must be someone else doing these parts.trauled the interweb for a couple of eves.found a one page site for a company called wolf steel restorations in Canada and a phone no.450-298-5078.www.alfaparts.net/ford32.guys name robin Wilkinson.now im in the uk.got nothing too lose.called .and an answer.asked if there still making panels for 32/34 truck.yep.what do you need.they don't keep anything as stock.but make to order.so I ordered the whole lot .full back panel,cowl and cab corners.(the cowl and cab panels are twice as high as howells).all the prices are up on the site. this was mon 1st june.there in the uk.should have on mon 8th june am.didnt think for a minute theyd be done that quick.now that's what I call a ist class company.very helpful.you guys can do no worse give em a try.very impressed.
If you replace the whole back panel you will probably be ok. But I ordered the lower back panel from them and it was not even close to any part of my truck. I had to cut and splice and add metal. Would have returned it but I usually buy parts and sit on them for a year before I use them. By then its too late. I personally wouldn't buy anything else from them but I hope your results turn out better. I got all my patches from Howells pretty quickly. But I bought off of his Ebay site and had no problems.
