    still scratching away at it.....

    patching and stuff....

I love a model A on 32 rails,, but not a fan of the way the rear wheel openings hang over the rear frame rails... im not sure if anyone has ever done what I did to correct this,(wouldn't surprise me if it had been done),,,but this was my attempt of tieing everything together for a better flow and fit,,,

Actually can you expand on what you did with the rear? Pics and details on what you did. I asume it was the correct width to match the frame?

    Thanks!

    thanks Fellas!!!

I didn't take any pics of the procedure....so ill do my best to try and describe...I first removed the rear crossmember,,,then made a pie cut on each side of the frame right before it kicks up,,,,then I spread the rear frame rails out till they lined up with the ends of that piece (not sure of the name,)that runs the length of the bottom of the rear of the body,, braced it up, checked for squareness,, welded it up, then took the rear horns that had been lopped off (glad the Hamber I got the frame from thru them in!) and grafted them in so that the rearest bolt hole lines up with the bolt hole in "that piece"(still not sure of the name of it :)) trimmed wheelwell openings to fit... once i make the rear subrails the wheelwell openings i'll tie them in

Nice! I still can't get over how all you guys get your patch panels to look so good, I'm in the process of doing mine and suck at it.
