   Can anybody help me out with the size of the slotted holes that are in the lower part of the cowl for the cowl band ???.....mine were filled in at one time and I'm going to put the band back (on order).

   The slots on mine are 1/4" wide, 1-1/2" tall, and the bottom of the slot starts 2-3/8" up from the bottom of the cowl.
