These were too cheap to pass up. But they were cheap because no one knew what they fit. They're 28" where measured across, just shy of 11" tall (like by 1/4") and have a very slight crown to them from front to back. The shape to me implies 1940s more than 1930s, possibly even early 50s. Anyone recognize them? I figured if anyone would know this is the place.
Looks kind of like my '36 Ford Foxcraft skirts, but I won't be home to check sizes until next Thursday. If you haven't ID'd them by then, PM me and I'll check 'em out.
Yeah, I had some '42 Olds skirts years ago and the size and shape is similar, I think the curve arch is too flat on the top for a car like a 36 Ford. But these aren't Olds, or at least not '42.
I agree, after looking at some listings there they're probably 1948 Pontiac - will fit the other years, but don't have ribs. I see in Sold listings one that's identical to these.
