    Hey H.A.M.B.
I’m getting ready to pull the old 3on the tree column Flathead trans. In putting in a C4 behind a 302. The car originally when I bought it had the 302 and old flatly transmission in it. The 302 sat way back in the engine bay. The P.O. had fab crazy mounts. Somewhere he had found the bellhousing for the old trans to the 302. I’m putting in a C4. However, my question is. If I use new engine mounts for the 302, and mount in the original holes. Will I have to modify the driveline? The reason the P.O. had mounted the engine so far back was so he didn’t have to lengthen the driveline.
    Thx

  3. Plenty of mount kits out there to put that drivetrain in that car..obviously a new driveshaft would likely be needed
