Yes because original seat had concave shape, just added more foam.

Sorry I never noticed...:D...good morning...I'm guilty of typos myself...and I chuckle at myself over a number of them and try to correct them because there are some whom will point them out all in fun put the axe away and its only for chopping...So is the Black and then Grey to aid in the blocking?

Now Grammar...oh man...I'm way out to lunch on that...

The black was epoxy primer to seal the entire car. The grey is poly primer or high build primer to make her nice and smooth before blocking. She’ll get another “quote” then hopefully colour from there

That is the plan for sure. Unless there is some major curve ball. Lots of work left to be done and still have to get the car registered in BC once it’s done. Just accumulating the last few parts I need to complete the build.

Thanks man they are Rochester small base 2’s. Have the tri power rebuild kit from speedway so I’m gonna make em all brand new and the kit comes with new bases for the outboard carbs to remove the idle circuits from them to make the slaves. That’s how a proper tri power set up is supposed to be. Makes it easy because you’re only tuning one carb at idle.

I agree, that’s how I’m settling mine up too. Six barrels all at once ! Mine are Holley 94’s.

Steering wheel restoration done and I got the majority of the wood stained. We left the top perimeter wood on the body so it was solid for sanding. Once we’re ready for final paint we’ll pull it out and stain that as well. All of the interior wood will be left exposed. Ticking off all these little jobs that take time!

Well here she is no longer bare steel!! Two years into the build, man how time flies. Super stoked how it turned out. We were back and forth on a couple maroons yesterday, but i'm happy with the choice. The pics don't do it justice! On to assembly!

Congrats ! That really was a quick turnaround by your painter, that wasn’t paint jail, more like probation. Looks fantastic.

thanks man, ya it looks even nicer in person. The colour really flops in different light. Just over 140 hours total in body and paint. We'll be putting it back on the frame tomorrow, ecited to see it sitting back down on the frame. Gonna be busy sanding and staining the rest of the wood tonight. get it back in the car before we move it.

From the belt line up and quarter windows and back the wood will be left exposed and the body showing will be black. Everywhere else with have dynamat and will get covered. Carpet on the floor and then the steel door and kick panels either in body colour or black. One of those things where the odd change in plan will likely happen as the car goes together.
