will a 30-31 grille and rad work on a 29 A, with just the top of the hood on, or will the top be too high on the rad? I'm sure it'd be fine without a hood, but I like the look of a hood without sides.
my 29 hood doesnt fit the 31 rad....its too wide....or rather the 30/31 grille is too narrow at the top in the stock config. if you did a little narrowing on the hood tops if might fit. i am gonna run the same thing on mine,...just the hood tops with no sides. i need a grill for the 28/29. i bought the grill coz it was a good price and looks cool. also i can put it on the frame and show my wife more or less what it will look like when it is finished (she is not so visual).
its a different shape the 28-9 and the 30-31 have different hoods, cowel, grill shells, and side curtains. not saying you cant "make" it work, but you are going to have some work on your hands. might just have to make your own hood
