Looking forward to seeing a few more traditional style cars there this year.
I have four days left to get this running:eek::D:cool::

    Thanks Texas!
Yeah the Bloodhound thing is pretty crazy... Stefan Marjoram on here (who posts some really cool sketches/paintings in the FAS) is or was somehow involved in the project.

So the roadster didn't make it on the first weekend - took my avatar truck up and ran 197kmh - that is 19kmh better than last year!! Gearing is still wrong though - couldn't get it into 5th.

Luckily the event runs till next Tuesday. We finally got clutch on the roadster yesterday, so plan to get it running and a quick shakedown in the rain today. Then head out for another 1600 mile round trip:eek::eek::eek:

    Cheers Spoggie!

SO we got it all sewn up, left early Saturday and got to the 'pan late at night with temps well below freezing.
As soon as we thawed we got things going and proceeded to have the best day in years despite a couple of (silly as it turned out) gremlins.
With 600 square kilometre to play on we were little boys again for a bit getting things shaken down!
First proper timed run the car did 191km/h and I was stoked. Starting having a few cooling issues and decided to not push our luck too much. Turned it around and were back home 1600 miles later 44 hours after we set off:eek::eek::eek:
