I ran solid 8.90s at Kdale tonight using "MissysDaD"s advice.
It was respect the whitewalls night. LMAO

thanks for the video!!!! It was awesome!!! I had been running with some bent pushrods, and the 60 felt better, but the video showed me it too "felt" better!!!
Hey Thay does this mean you are up for going to Day Of The Drags in Temple ? I think it in a couple months. I think we are gonna camp again.
WHAT A FREAKIN GREAT WEEKEND!!!!!!!! HUGE thanks to Rusty n crew for putting this on...
Missed some guys I thought would be there...you guys cant miss this next year!

Can't wait till next year!
Congrats on our run!
Oh someone walked up to my buddies niece and gave her a Good News Travels Fast sticker, I'm guessing it was you Bill. That made her day. Thanks for that.
Yep, I really enjoyed runnin with ya Bill, did'nt get a sticker though!
There were several cars there that I have never seen, anyone know these guys, HAMB'rs?, have the contact info?

Black 88 on the paddock...
Too busy racing to walk around much, but really happy not to be the only Olds there
Hope all the kids got one. Now that you have the sickness we're running at Little River this Saturday, come on!
We had a good time even though I tried to move the concrete guardrail over. Thanks to everyone that came by with their condolences. Just ordered a new 1/4 panel and hope to have BlownBlu at the Classic Chevy convention Memorial weekend in 2 weeks (sans paint). Thanks to the "Area 51" gang for the trophy.
We will be there next year. Who knows maybe I'll try to keep our altered 55 between the guardrails next time!!
Was glad to see you were ok, and hope to see you out there next year.
And does anyone know what the fastest ET was?
The FNG has one BADass hotrod. I heard youve had that since high school.
I woulda cried my eyes out over that. Glad you are ok. Was a thrill just looking at your ride.
Hey Captain America, youre a hoot, man! You old pro you.
Yea David, count me in. I had wayyyyy too much fun with this crowd.
Blown Blue 55,
tough luck about your deal, looked like you might have been
one of the fastest there, I never wear ear plugs b ut
boy when you went by me my whole head rattled, this old 70
yr old had one heck of time watching all of you do your thing..
I had a great time there as always. It was great to see everybody again.
I think #1 Scull Orchard 5.91 and #2 Hill Rat 5.93, how's that for 2 old farts in trucks older than them!!!
Got what little pictures I have uploaded. Here is the link to them:
Thanks again Rusty!
from everyone here at g&m motorsports(home of the quartet pounder)we want to thank danny and his crew for a great weekend of racing.lots of fine cars and we met alot of people we hope to see again at the races.this was our first time at yellobelly but it wont be our last.see you next year.
Yes...that is correct. This is my very first car. Drove it to high school in 78 / 79. Drove it to work for several years and dated my wife in it.
Believe me...I wanted to cry!! First dent the car has ever had. I literally would have taken 2 broken legs to prevent that from happening.
Nothing on me hurt other than pride. We will be back.
Thanks...I love entertaining with the wild passes...just not that wild!! I was overdue on the incident. I've come close too many times and escaped. Oh...my ears ring as well. Glad you enjoyed it.
BTW...your old machine really gets after it as well!!
Does anyone have my pass on video? My wife was recording...but knew I was in trouble as soon as it got quite around there...so we have limited video.
I think Mark with the Skull orchard clicked off a 5.921 Thats the best I saw.
I was in the stands at the tree so I have the burn out and launch but not the whole run. By the time I got up to the fence you where out of the car standing behind it. It's hard to get a clear shot of a complete run out there.
That's funny...cause I could have sworn that it took me 10 minutes to hit the wall.
Think I almost had the door open before it completely quit sliding. Had to see how much damage there was.
Hey blown blu55 was just shutting down under the cover at the spot you clipped the concrete i thought i lost a motor, or a plane had crashed .very nice car ! how fast is it in 1/8 and 1/4 nice car.
That car like so many on here is a masterpiece
