Technical 291 desoto in a 35 ford 1/2 ton

wondering if any body posted a tread on putting a 291 desoto in a 35 ford pickup.
had no luck finding one thanks

 

One thing we can always use is another hemi truck thread! Beats "what oil should I use" or another electric fan thread.

I have 330 Desoto going in a 41 ford PU and @hotrodA has a 330 in a 40 half ton ford as well. Frames are the same as you know so maybe some help there.

I hope to see another PU thread. We are making Desoto motors as common as SBC! Kinda.

 

I've got a 330 Desoto that was in a mid 50's Dodge pickup. I'm thinking that oil filter clearance was an issue with that truck. It might be a real issue in a Ford frame.

 

...remote filters fix clearance issues....
