Couldn't load photos for some reason, so I'll post them from my FB account. The '30-31 cowl meets the A chassis, but the body widens as it goes back. The frame doesn't. You can kind of see it in this angle. Maybe a little better here: By the rear fender line (on the body) the frame is probably a good 5" inside.
I just want the both of you to know that because of you, whiskey and daddio I have caught myself cruising c.....list looking for a 27 body. I did find a complete frame for 500 bucks!!! Damn disease, it's even contagious over the internet.
