Thanks, now that the Areo Disks are on order the sketch needs some updates. Can't wait to get the shell blasted and in primer. Bob

  3. Must be warming up up there, cause things seriously changed for the worse down here. Snow down South, and what's happened to our Autumn? (Fall)
Time for hanging about the fire, reading the inter web, watching ya'll build away in the sun.:D
The new window will light up your working area, making those important progress pics, so much better.;)
Life is good, keep up the great work.

The Inspector turned three and got his first powered vehicle. This shot is just after he became a Hot Rodder after shifting into high range all on his own. Saw a nice '31 Slant Window at a show Sunday, took some detail shots.

Everything just moved around before the plywood braces went in, and would have been wrecked moving around at the blasters. Wood kit is here and will go in after the thing is primed and a coat of paint is applied to the wood areas. Back sub rail and wheel well areas are rough and will get replaced with a '32 chassis kickup kit. I don't have a '32 chassis yet so the rear Steelback sheetmetal will get fitted to the body first, and I'll fit the subrails later. It would be nice to have all four doors fit my the end of the Summer. Bob

Wire wheeled them and chased the threads. Ordered new screws from Snyders, they arrived in two days, hung the doors last night. This will allow me to fit the belt moulding and attach the '29 cowl. Way too much crap in the garage, not enough work room. Bob

No body work at work this week so I found a half sheet of 1200 and a real old bottle of compound and cleaned up the old paint on a rear door. Love wet sanding. I'll do the other three,. maybe having clean stuff will get me doing other things on the project. Bob 2015 LARS Fund 547.jpg

[IMG] Thanks, Saw this photo in the Best Hot Rod of the Year at Goodguys thread. If I ever got to the point of wiring either of my projects this is how I'd want it to look. Bob

The old cowl found a new home yesterday, that is progress, and a gain in work space. [IMG]

The $15.00 pair of fenders from Hershey I plan to cut up to make one fender. If I can sell that spare well they may be free. AFTER Hersher 2015 145.jpg

I bought three for $50, sold one (the rusty one) for $35.00, so the pair cost me $15.00. Bob math.

That is the most concrete I've seen in the basement in a long time, it even impressed my 3 year old Grandson. He wants to move some of his trucks into my play area. Major addition may arrive next week. Bob AFTER Hersher 2015 728.jpg

  20. Now your scaring me, ;)

I built the house back in 1978, it is amazing how much crap I've tucked away over the years. Time to turn it into the stuff I really want now. What will be rolling in next week is something I've wanted for 31 years now. Goal is to have that side of the basement free of unneeded non car parts. Sell, scrap, and throw away seams to be working. Having that work space in the basement allowed me to remove the locking hub cap with the missing key and drill out the rusty lug nuts. Shot of Gibbs and it doesn't look too bad Once it gets blasted I'll decide if it's more than just a roller. AFTER Hersher 2015 869.jpg

Why buy new plywood for the front fender buck when I can cut up a Henderson shipping crate? More floor space, firewood, progress. Bob AFTER Hersher 2015 903.jpg

That open floor space didn't last long, I've got it covered with crap again, at least I'm thinking about working on the projects. Bob DSCF0068.JPG

  29. Well Bob, that's the biggest piece of clear floor you have shown us.......so well done, you could work on that front axle as it has lots of work space.;):D JW
