You and "Hooligan" both building slammed "A's" with similar paint schemes. This is interesting... and cool. I'll have to work you guys out a deal on matching shifter knobs
If anyone starts knocking your ride height as "un-traditional" have them look at these photos. I have dozen of poloroids of low slung Model A's & B's at the track & flats, from the late 50's & early 60's, that I need to get scanned. Not too much, that we do today, that hasn't been done before. And, yes, there were even some bagged cars back then.
Hey Hooligan, it was 78 degrees , here on the beach, in sunny California today. Looking forward to winter. My wife just gave me a new Pendelton and I'd like to have a chance to wear it Sorry, just had to give you some crap about your new heater. So who here is painting their coupe "Root Beer" first? Great work both of you guys!
I am jealous, we can trade houses for winter if you really want to experience winter. You won't be sorry, I swear I wish I could live in California but for whatever reason the U.S isn't very friendly about having Canadians come out to live and work permanently. Unless your occupation is in demand. Anyone want to offer me a job and sponsor me? As for the rootbeer, I picked first, LOL. My car is going to be a two tone brown, with a root beer engine, it doesn't bother me in the least that they may appear similiar in ways when done, at least we don't live on the same block. Drivinford is building a cool car and I'm looking forward to seeing it done. Sorry to hijack the thread and bring it off topic for a bit, keep up the good work you're doing dude.
I was gonna go candy gold but after i saw a candy brown i had to try it. The coupe has alot of work to be done before paint. Im thinkin its gonna be awhile. My coupes gonna be all candy brown with a cream colored firewall. Keep us posted on ur build hooligan
