I used stock motor mounts ( Long bolt horz.through bottom) and made an Opposite base on Ordg inder motor saddle crossmember.. Not much time and no money involved..

While no practical experience, I have been told the following work:

    64-65 Ford fairlane 289
    76 F150 302
    84 Lincoln Mk VII (302)

For the first two you may need about a 1 inch spacer between the mont nd the block to clear everything. Supposedly, the Lincoln mount is 1 inch taller so a spacer may not be needed.

opie's hot rod parts has bolt in mount kits same as the old Butch's Rod Shop mounts they sell on ebay too. Used them on my 56 Fairlane hardtop --cheap, quick and easy

    I have done this twice.
    Once in a 55 and another in a 56,
I use ford truck mounts and it bolts right up.
Mid 70's is what I ask for at the parts counter.
