New fuel lines, the Big97’s, Edmunds air cleaners. I’ve got yellow cloth wrapped plug wires to go on it too. F12C26B4-5834-424C-977F-463EC7743106.jpeg

Put 1940 Ford 16x4” wheels with 1940 Merc caps. Exelsior 7.00R16 and 5.00R16 tires. This a necessary step ahead of 45 fin Buick drums which won’t work with the wires.

I hauled it all the way to Minnesota for Back to the 50's. Put about 500 miles on it now with the new engine. Couldn't be happier with the performance, it really moves!!

Outstanding! That is exactly what I wanna do with my 29 Sport Coupe.

    A few questions...
    1. The Johnny joint for the rear radius rods... Where did you get it? Do you have the part#?
    2. The pedals & master cylinder... What are they? Where did you get them? Any better pics of how you mounted them? What master did you use?
    3. How is that fan in the Texas heat? Part# and supplier? Thermostats? Which ones? Where did you get them? I know you mentioned them earlier in your thread but wondered if you changed anything during the rebuild.

Thanks for taking the time to do this thread 55styleliner!!!

It's an early 1928, they had the high rear window.

    2. They are from an F-2 Ford Pickup. The F-1 is commonly used, I ended up with the F-2 by mistake, but worked out well and has a larger master cylinder All of the pedal linkage, master etc are all F-2. The F-2 master can be purchased from O'Rielly's. I have great brakes! I got the piece of the F-2 frame the pedals mount too and welded it to my frame. I don't have any better pictures, but you are only 3 hours away, come check it out in person!.

    3. It runs at 180 all day. It has to idle for several minutes before it gets up to 210 and the fan comes on, even on 100 degree days. I more attribute this to the Heavy Duty Walker radiator, It is the only choice I would make, it was expensive, but worth every penny. I am using 180 Mr. Gasket thermostats from O'Rielly's. The fan I also got from Speedway, nothing special about it, just thin to clear everything. Cruising down the highway it runs 175 typically. If I manually start the fan at 180, if I know I am going to be idling in traffic, it will not budge from there no matter how hot it is outside or how long it idles.
