Coupe - Roadster, doesn't matter it is a bitchen car. I really like the tc motor, my only question is what did you pull it out of? I like the little hemi-head thing going on with it.
At a Boy Matty!!!! For the guys that don't know Matt Seret, pay close attention his Fabrication skills are amazing. Dirty
Chopped off coupes rarely look right. Seen some sedan/phaeton conversions that looked good on here. I think the overall look is perfect on this one. The hood gives the lines nice flow. The right choice IMO.
why would someone put a rice burner mill in a hot rod? why not an old A four, small hemi or flatty..?
I think it is a small hemi, just not a chrysler product. I dig it. really liked it as a coupe, but its looks pretty good as a roadster too.
I think this car and motor kind of tipifies the hot rodding spirit. It's well thought out, clean lines, and the use of the toyo motor was probably a cheaper alternative then a vintage motor. It may not be totally traditional, but I think it was built in the same vein as the traditional rodders did. I dig it!
I liked it as a coupe... but then I never had to climb in and out of it. I took several pics of it at Paso. I dunno... since you got to climb in anyways i think I might have just opened up the back of the top and climbed in over the trunk. ah ... what the fuck do I know.. i drive a 76 volvo.
Dang... Matt yous hould build another coupe... becasue they would look awesome together... Looks like we need to take another trip to your shop to shoot this roadster.. -Juan
Why didnt he just build a roadster? that Coupe was a pretty well known hotrod, shit he coulda sold it and built something equal or better.. it looks like a coupster someone spent too much time on.
hate to break it to ya. you sir dont get it... Yeah I guess I just dont get it. Thanks for breaking it to me.
I think it looks bad ass as a roadster. I would prefer a Ford 4 banger in the car the way it sits. I like period perfect hot rods myself, but this car definitely works. but it is 2008 not 1948 people have different tastes and visions, sometimes money plays a factor. With the way gas prices are going up this would be a bad ass daily driver. probably 30 miles a gallon? maybe he is onto something. I think it's super cool. this is just my opinion.
Looks kool as a roadster. Like everyone else said, the hood is "the nuts". Did you consider numbering it like the coupe?
I like your hot butt! I can't wait to snuggle it in Paso Maria. Hug in! Hug out! SNUGGLERS For Life! It's all about the 5!
kirk your fuckin funny as hell- the roadster is pretty cool- personaly i like the coupe better but both ways it petty much kicks ass.
you'll get it eventually. trust me matt seret is the shit.he's a shining light among a sea of trend followers.you may not dig this one my friend but believe me a brisk walk around his shop or watching him make some shit will make a mother#**@$$ wanna throw his tools in the lake!
I'm impressed by both looks on this car, now really impress me and take the top you cut off and make it attachable-detachable. That would be THE SHIT! Might wanna' leave the hood closed, though, or you'll have some dipshit in a tuner after 'ya!
I now own parts from the top of this car and that what I plan to do with it. Coupe or roadster this is a sweet car. Norton

I would have to agree the proportions are a little off, especially in this photo. With the tannue cover on, and the windshield off, it looks a lot better I think, and thats usually how I run it. Coupsters have bigger cockpits than roadsters and it makes them look a little off. So If I know that, why did I still slice off the top, you ask? When it was a coupe it also was center steer. When I wanted to sell it, no one wanted to buy a center steer, flip top T, powered by Toyota. Its a neat novelty, but impractical even for a hot rod. And you chick cant go with you. I own a hot rod shop in Vallejo Ca., and didnt have allot of time this last winter to build myself a new car. So I cheated. A couple hours here and there between customer cars, and Walla a new car for 2008.
