Firewall in. Brakes working. Gas pedal done Floor Wiring started, ebrake to finish and a front windshield. Should make it a driver. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
I had a '27 T Tudor sedan, bought it as a 'hot rod'...Full fendered, on a Model A frame; '40 rear, '39 box, "Giant Full Race Flathead!" Bought it off a used car lot in San Jose...salesman said the engine was 'loaded to the gills'... 2 days later, I had the 'bugs' worked out. New ignition wires, rotor, cap, plugs...checked compression, 75 PSI in most cylinders. Pulled 1 Evans aluminum head: STOCK bore/stroke! Called car lot salesman, "All sales final! Hell, I was told it had a Full House..." $650. Car was candy blue, red and chrome running gear. O.K. I pulled my near-new 304" flathead out of my '36 Coupe, planted it in the T sedan. Now, I had something. (again...there were many in that time lapse!) I now have a '27 T Touring. But, alas...I'm an old man, and the Touring looks old timey.
Put a few miles on it today! Have a few thinks to tidy up, to make it more reliable. Glad I got to do it before the rain came Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
