One of my buddy owes me some cash ($500) and he offered me a 26 Ford Model T. The only thing is it doesn't have the doors. Is it worth it? Can I find doors for it?
Doors are an easy find. Roadster and touring doors cost nearly $400 for a good rebuildable set though. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Doesn't matter the body style. If has any parts to it, it is worth $500.... Touring cars are bringing decent money these days!
Does matter, a rusty coupe body with no doors would be lucky to bring the 500, a rusty roadster body with the turtle deck will bring 1000 + all day long
I just bought some door skins and made an inner structure for them. With some upholstered door panels, no one will know. I can post pictures if desired.
I would like to see these pics. I've been curious how the skins are finished and how they adapt to the inner structures.
WHAT BODY STYLE?? If it is a roadster I believe they are reproduced, if its a "doctor's coupe" you may have problems. In spite of what other people may say I can picture a '26 Model T Ford that is worth less than $500 and do you really need one? Charlie Stephens
Id get the body if were you. Its olmost 90 yrs old.. the way ppl keep "ratting" them out there will be nothing left then ppl will pay big bucks. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

By the way, that's a Coupe, not a Roadster, not a Turtle deck. A Coupe, or at least it used to be. The Wizzard
