Good evening. Acquired a new project....1927 Ford roadster on a 28 frame with a 241 red ram hemi. Leaks a little bit of oil so I want to start with changing the oil. There are no marks on the dipstick so I was hoping someone can tell me what the oil capacity is on these engines. Thanks in advance.

I use 5 quarts of Valvaline Racing 50 weight oil (not synthetic) in my 32 Coupe below and always one little bottle of zinc additive . For starting its always in a heated building. You could go with Valvaline 20-50 Racing oil and one zinc additive if your car is not in a heated environment. The Valvaline Racing oil is a high zinc blend.
