Having some issues with our rotofaze distributor. Working with Joe panek to resolve. Looking at using the MSD 8534 which is for the 270 dodge. Anyone know if the 241 and 270 use the same distributor?

They are the same. What issues are you having with your RotoFaz? Any early Chrysler distributor will work by cutting the drive shaft to the correct length.

We are trying to find the correct points and condensors along with 6v coils and resistors. The model is 822 and rotofaze is working to find the original specs. My dad has lost them and we have over 50 year old parts with no part Numbers. So we werr thinking of buying new ignition parts and sending rotofaze back to Joe. Photos attached. [IMG]

Sorry, can't help you with the RotoFaz...

But, the Mopar LA 273, 318, 340, 360 small block distributor will drop right into the 241 & 270 Dodge Hemis.

Thanks. I confirmed that the MSD 8534 will fit the 241. We have two complete 241 motors so I needed a second ignition anyway.

Buddy and I compared the 241" head gasket and the 239" flattie block...
we were amazed at how many bolt holes lined up.
I would love to see some machinist type rodder make his own overhead valve conversion
