I started a thread last year asking who had this roadster. I had picked up the 2 shots of it from somewhere. Love this car! My opinion, for what it's worth, would be to section the 2nd turtle deck another 1 1/2" or so. That way it won't look a mirror image, and the roll pan will look like a continuation of the frame height. Again, love this car.
    Cheers,
    Stewart.

I also think it looks much better with the second body line removed.
It's funny, your "full diaper" comment sticks in my mind, though. It kind of did/does have that appearance.
Like 'Limey Kid' mentioned, have you considered removing a small section to move the 'roll pan' up a bit?

Maybe a photo from a short perspective would give it a different appearance? ha! :)

That second deck turned upside down idea is genius! I'm going to steal that if I ever build one of those. ;)

  19. Henry said all "T's" should be black. I say Maroon would work too.

My opinion, for what it's worth, is that if you use the truck grille, it's trailing edge should be vertical to match the firewall. If you deepen the grille shell, it would look more like a track nose, and the rear vertical edge would also echo that of a track nose.
After all that, I think I still prefer the T shell!
    Cheers,
    Stewart.

First time I'm seeing your build, i dig it. I love T roadsters.

  23. I.m diging the track nose but I think that woud reqire atleast a hood top if not a top & sides

I am way diggin' the '37 truck grill! Maybe narrowing it just a touch to make a little less round. I'm not talking lots like Jake's old coupe, just an inch or two...

I'm in both camps with the truck grill, you're doing great with it but I think it needs more tweaking not to look like a truck grill.
I also agree with the person who posted the need for some sort of hood to carry the track nose look into the rest of the car.

Been following your build and I love it, the T grill shell sure looks good. When I was building my 26 I tried all kinds of grill shells and settled on the chopped 32 because I kept trying to convince myself the others looked good.

Great looking T! Like how the grill is coming out too... Was wondering when I saw the truck grille just setting on it, but now it's starting to take form and looks sweet
