I am in the process of building a 1954 full pressure 235 for my 53 Bel Air, I will be running a Harper intake with 3 Ford 94's, 848 head, Mallory Unilte ignition, And more than likely a Clifford header.I will be running .080 over forged pistons from Flatlander Racing at 10.5/1

The machine shop has suggested a 470 lift,275 duration mechanical lifter cam. Howard's suggests a 450 lift,230 Duration.

    Any input would be appreciated

Pat Lash runs a 272° Clifford cam in his roadster with 8.5:1 comp cast aluminium pistons.
