225 ci Oldsmobile and Buick similarities...

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by sergioperez78, Jun 16, 2010.

  1. Hi! I was wondering if the 225ci olds engine is similar to 225ci Buick. It´s from a ´64/´65 F85 I think. Any performance part for this engine is still available?

    Thanks for your time,

    Sergio

  2. Do you mean the 215-CI V8 with the aluminum block?

If you are talking the V6, it is a Buick engine

Same damned thing. I believe that Offenhauser still lists an intake for it.

If you are referring to the 215 ci aluminum V8 it is now manufactured by Rover. And it is a very popular swap into MG B models.

  6. Hi! I´m refering to the 225 ci v6, not the aluminium one. Thanks for the answers!
