I see it is the same auctioneers that did the Lambrecht auction. I guess it will turn into just as big a circus once it has been advertised.
This one has been advertised for months...CIRCUS....YOU BET !!!!!! More then enough cars for the clowns to come out of !!!!!
It's hard to imagine this is some of the last yards with old assorted cars.... a dying breed for sure...
Greetings! Most of this stuff is going to go for scrap prices or less. Look at the pictures, including the stuff in the buildings, and imagine auctioning around two-hundred cars and enormous piles of unmarked grills, fenders and doors all in the space of an afternoon. The sellers are going to get raped.
I don't know what it will sell for, but I agree a lot of it is only worth scrap price when you consider the investment in time, travel, transportation, disassembly to harvest any good parts, etc.. There are some higher dollar vehicles there, the V16 or V12 Caddy, the Cords and a few others. But mostly clapped out, rusty, incomplete hulks.
I agree with you about seeing the place....but the issue was about how much this stuff will sell for...an entirely different matter.
