    Anyone know the newest t5 that can be put in my '50 - I found a' 96 but IIR they changed th case at some point but not sure if that makes it unusable

    I believe '93 S10 was the last yr with the older bolt pattern, after that they all had the mustang bolt pattern.

    The only thing that changed on later T5 cases was the bellhousing pattern.

    If you have found a dramatically different case, it is not a T5.

    The 1996-up S10 did not use a T5. It used a NV1500. The bellhousing is not removable without a saw or hammer.

    if you were closer I took the 235,5 speed with adapter out of my 53 I would sell for a good price.Cheap.

    You look to be about 4 hours one way ... I might be ok with that , how much is cheap ?

    500 for all. I have extra bellhousing two carbs,new clutch disk,starter,and all new gaskets installed.The tranny is a electric speedo.

    That's pretty darn good . Let me see about selling off some of my parts hoard to get the extra cash over what I already have .

    To answer your question 92-93 was the change year to the mustang mounting configuration.

    You should jump on the 235 with T5 for $500 before someone else does. Adapter plate is $160 alone. That seems like a very fair HAMB price. Many ways around the electric speedo like mentioned before. If that has been put together, hooked up and going down the road already, it's a great deal!

    Oh I want it for sure ! I had enough put aside for a just trans , so I need to sell and dig for the rest .

    the 235 is out of my 53 2door,had good oil pressure obout half way gauge.
