The TRJ Revival event is going to take place in less than ten days! We just wanted to send a friendly reminder that if you haven't already pre-registered for the event online, you can do so by clicking here. For more information about the show and surrounding events, visit www.roddersjournalrevival.com. And don’t forget to post photos of the car you’ll be bringing on this thread. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone soon!
Sorry it took so long to post this up, but here's the Pimlico site map showing where everything's going to be (including HAMB parking). There may be a few more vendors added before next week, but this will give you an idea of the lay of the land. Seven days...
I'd say WWW's and chrome steelies since he had the Halibrands on last year. Either way is cool though.
That's funny Tom. I was thinking about that too and I've seen it done before. I will probably run the WW Thursday and Friday since my wife will be with me those days and she likes that set up better. Then maybe I'll put the mags back on for Sat-Sun. Hope to see you there.
The Revival event is almost here and we are all excited! Check out some of these cool pictures: Michael Mondrella will be driving his early Cad-powered Deuce five-window Coupe to Baltimore all the way from Grand Rapids, Michigan. New Jersey resident John Bolger is a long time friend of TRJ contributor Joe Kress. John will be attending the Revival in his ’57 T-Bird, which Joe tells us is all stock with the exception of the eight-ball shifter. If you still haven't pre-registered, you can do so right here. We are all looking forward to seeing you at the event
A funny thing it is....the greatest part of this meet is the high quality vehicles being driven to this deal and on the Pimlico site map the areas are designated "show car parking"...heh heh that is special....looking forward to a great weekend.
"Show car parking" just means this is where hot rods park (no trailers, vendor vehicles, etc.) Driving our old cars has always been a big part of The Revival, but as for the main event at Pimlico, we don't care if you drive it, trailer it, fly it or push it into the track...if it's a cool old rod or custom, bring it on. Less than a week...can't wait to see everyone.
I get that Curt and my post is nothing but a great big compliment to the hard working folks that make this meet happen and provide such a high level of participation. The "show car parking" designation is just such a humorous counter-HAMB reference that's all. Thanks for the hard work and see you all at the track.
I think I'm going to drive my other 1936 Ford convertible---the 4 dr convertible sedan; instead of the cabriolet. This one is Ford powered, too but doesn't sound quite as wicked. The Vintage Air system works great so I'll be prepared... and it really doesn't leak either! I do hope that aspect of the car will NOT be tested in Baltimore... rain, rain, go away!! All at the Revival want to play!
Was there for the 2nd Revival last year. Great show! Planning to be there this year for at least one day of the show. My avatar picture here was taken there last year by Dan Greenburg.
Any of my MD friends have a couch I can crash on Sat night? Thinking of going. Message me if you do Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
